Fucking EPIC.

That is all.

EvilRaccoon responds:

Thanks Newgeneral. ;)

Amazing

This is amazing, you have some pretty nice stuff, you've inspired me to create something, but then again I can't create such good songs such as these.

Music-story responds:

This is funny. Who keeps on saying other people's reviews are helpful? I don't even touch the review vote thing. Glad I could inspire you. Practice and you get better.

Bye for now

P.S. Your review is helpful because it encourages me. :)

Mp3 player

Going on my philips GoGear Raga mp3 player. 4GB

:D. Nice man. I love it.

EvilRaccoon responds:

Thanks very much New General!

I'm speechless.

This is just remarkably good, EPIC.

I love the catchy drums and that brass/classical bass. I must get those VSTs, soon thought :P My birthday is coming up and I will ask for more space.

EvilRaccoon responds:

Thanks NewGeneral. Im glad you enjoyed it! :)

Damn son

This is stunning. You have something going on here. I love it, I love classical a lot and the likes of x ray dog and immediate music abbey, I got the whole albums and I love emotional and action packed music.

This was brilliant, touching, soothing and mellow, while having a mysterious feeling. The strings brining it in with the mysterious feeling while the piano making it lighter and appearing as a flying melody. The cello/? is nice and adds to the heavenly feeling.

I wish I could make music like this. It's really is a wonderful master piece. I'm still training but I got to get those chorus VSTs and an orchestra kit that is realistic because edirol just won't do for me, but it's alright for a beginner.

EvilRaccoon responds:

Hehe, you will NewG. Just give it time, thanks for the score! :)

Nice

But the gritty bass makes it sounds distorted and kind of crappy. Fix that, make it more solid. The clap also makes it really hardcore, not that that's a problem but a dance song shouldn't sound so SAWY. I guess.

Put in a better clap, a softer one.

djInTheDark responds:

Yeah thats all true, I'm just not trying to follow the crowd.

Tanx for the review!

Acoustic Guitar

I have an acoustic guitat. I want to learn because I'm going into Music Technology.

Evil-Dog responds:

Good luck

It's okay.

The piano is good and doesn't clash as you said but the generated guitar doesn't sound good at all. It's kind of lagging and cliche. It sounds too electronical, it's not enjoyable really. I only liked the piano and also there was too much crashes between the drums. The drums are okay but the guitar at the end is too highly pitched, either lower the volume because I can't hear the drums properly. A song must balance between the drums, guitar and the other stuff in the background that is still hearable, piano, flute ETC.

It's not a bad song but the guitars are very badly generated, either get a new present or use Vanguard or Nexus. I don't know much about creating guitar sounds.

I know my Desolation song had clashing notes, I fixed some but forgot the rest, I know about clashing notes, I just didn't have time to fix that.

codbarley responds:

ah. I used Slayer for Fruity Loops. not very good, but meh, can't find any decent ones.

Honestly.

I quite like it, it has a good flow and the guitar is of high quality and quite catchy. Although I think it was a bit repetitive with the melody, even though you changed chords.

It has a modern beat which doesn't quite fit the classical genre but I guess this could be somehow incorporated into classical. I think this would fit the "Rock" or "Pop" genre more. Just a suggestion :].

Tilkanuts responds:

Yeah i love the guitar in it too ^_^

It is a little repetitive, but i think its perfect for something to set on repeat on your mp3 player as your about to go to sleep or something. It's pretty lulling when you think about it.

I don't know why people care so much about the genre. If it's in classical, great. If it's in rock, great. Pop? great. What is the difference? Since when did people start judging music because it doesn't belong in the right genre? It's music!!!!!!! Just listen to it and enjoy it! Who cares how it's categorized?

Anyway, that's my opinion. Thanks for the review nonetheless, and i'm happy that you enjoyed it ^_^
