It's a joke.

They're always good for a laugh. It's amazing how easy it becomes when people create loads of synths though that replicate his music. The Braam has loads of parodies on it, although people always have the misconception that it was created because of Hans, Zach Hennesy and Mike Zarin. It was apparent before that.
Even dating back to the Alien trailer which used repetitive sound design in the same manner.
Yeah, but I guess it got popularized due to Hans and Zach Hennesy. It's still difficult to get that exact sound without knowing the right reverb and also specific brass instruments they used, probably a mix of synth and bass. Didn't know it dated that far back though. I was guilty of it myself by making that short "Inception" loop a while ago.
I guess making it pedestrian doesn't make it all the less enthralling. Is he the modern-day Benjamin Britten?
Still, good one. :3
What do you mean by pedestrian? o.O
Hans Zimmer is definitely talented although I've heard he employs skillfull instrumentalists and even composers to do his work for him, he's putting people in business due to his access to a vast amount of money, although there is no denying he has composed some unique themes for major movies himself.
"Pedestrian" as in, appealing to the lowest common denominator, which is an allegation used against both Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Britten.
Oh I see. Well his music is easily translatable and appeals to the common film score feeling. I always thought that the simpler the better sometimes, to get a message across, much like with Language, sometimes complexity should be left out, other times it should be taken into account depending on the subject.

lol! Good job ;)

Haha thank you. :D I hope you got what I was going for. I am not trying to take the mick out of Hans, he did a splendid job on the track, but still it's quite easy to replicate the sound, at least to an extent.
I want to do an Inception one as well, but this time with commentary like "Let's get those deep full french horns in there for that full BRAAAAM sound, mmm."
