Acoustic Guitar

I have an acoustic guitat. I want to learn because I'm going into Music Technology.

Evil-Dog responds:

Good luck

It's okay.

The piano is good and doesn't clash as you said but the generated guitar doesn't sound good at all. It's kind of lagging and cliche. It sounds too electronical, it's not enjoyable really. I only liked the piano and also there was too much crashes between the drums. The drums are okay but the guitar at the end is too highly pitched, either lower the volume because I can't hear the drums properly. A song must balance between the drums, guitar and the other stuff in the background that is still hearable, piano, flute ETC.

It's not a bad song but the guitars are very badly generated, either get a new present or use Vanguard or Nexus. I don't know much about creating guitar sounds.

I know my Desolation song had clashing notes, I fixed some but forgot the rest, I know about clashing notes, I just didn't have time to fix that.

codbarley responds:

ah. I used Slayer for Fruity Loops. not very good, but meh, can't find any decent ones.

nice.

It has that uplifting rave feeling with great synthesizers and bass. Although it requires a mastering on the synthesizer, it's a bit too loud. The main one.

Overall it's a great dance song with a rhythmic beat. I don't have time to review this song fully but I can tell you I enjoyed listening to it. Keep making music man. My greetings to your skills!

syphonmax responds:

I'll look into the synthesizer, thanks for that =]

And I'm glad you like the song :D

Honestly.

I quite like it, it has a good flow and the guitar is of high quality and quite catchy. Although I think it was a bit repetitive with the melody, even though you changed chords.

It has a modern beat which doesn't quite fit the classical genre but I guess this could be somehow incorporated into classical. I think this would fit the "Rock" or "Pop" genre more. Just a suggestion :].

Tilkanuts responds:

Yeah i love the guitar in it too ^_^

It is a little repetitive, but i think its perfect for something to set on repeat on your mp3 player as your about to go to sleep or something. It's pretty lulling when you think about it.

I don't know why people care so much about the genre. If it's in classical, great. If it's in rock, great. Pop? great. What is the difference? Since when did people start judging music because it doesn't belong in the right genre? It's music!!!!!!! Just listen to it and enjoy it! Who cares how it's categorized?

Anyway, that's my opinion. Thanks for the review nonetheless, and i'm happy that you enjoyed it ^_^

Great

This is a true masterpice. A song of hope, life and survival and also struggle.

This is a really good song with good melodies and sounds. I love the piano, violin and the beat. Although a bit modern, the beat that is but I guess that's called "modern classical" still good. Also it was a big repetitive with the melodies but not bad. The catchy melodies covered for that. I listen to this song everyday.

I made a remix of your song, completely from scratch:

Mozzak responds:

Thanks man,I liked the remix quite alot!

OMFG I LOVE THIS!

Not really. Repetitive.

Pippatchu responds:

THX DUED

Soothing.

It's energetic but also a bit mysterious, I like the spiky synth or whatever it is xD
The piano is good but the spiky synth changes to a low horror note rather than the other note that makes it less scary, unless that's what you wanted to achieven.

Box-Killa responds:

The first thing I started working on was the harp, also known as the spiky synth :D I made the happy bit first, it sounded really relaxing by itself, then I added the piano and fiddled around until I liked the sound. Then I wanted a dark mood change from the first bit. I had no freaking Idea how to make the change. So what i did was i just got the structure of a the happy melody and applied it to a minor chord with extra notes added on.

That doesn't really answer your review but I wanted to say that anyway

The thing is, the happy melody kinda fits in with the darker one because it is a bit sinister. It was the work of the piano combined with the hard that did that.

Im just rambling on lolz.. yeah Its a cool song thanks for the review :D lolz

Good.

I'm just collecting some mp3 music and this is really good.

Downloaded. It feels really mysterious but epic as well in some places. Like an adventure into the far land.

vai90 responds:

Cool to hear. Thx.^^

Great.

It starts off really like the start of summer, flowers blooming then goes into a nice catchy beat, the piano is good with the chords. You know your stuff man, I like the other synth you used. It actually sounds kind of funky and house in between. Keep making music.

durn responds:

thanks man. I'm glad people are liking the intro. :) not often that I've played with the tempo adjust in reason as it's a new feature in 4.0. :)

Good.

This has a catchy melody with quite an epic feeling but also an adventurous piece as well. I love how it builds up and well done on the melody with the piano. Really rhythmic and exciting.

It has quite a mysterious feel later on to the very end but is still epic, the string synth is good but could be more higher pitched or that one that is progressive.

Dj-Brand0 responds:

Thanks man glad you liked it!

Yeah I agree it's really epic :D The mysterious feel i was mainly trying to gain out of it and it worked pretty well.

Thanks heaps.
